Spotlight on the Health Leadeship Lab in Main Hall, 1st Floor

The Health Leadership Lab, also known as the HLL, is one of Salem Academy and College’s newest, updated spaces on campus. With flat panels and state-of-the-art web conferencing technology, the HLL is the perfect place for classes, meetings, tutoring, etc. HLL 1, the largest of the rooms, has a touchscreen flat panel, wireless casting, and is the best option for in-person or hybrid classes or meetings. HLL 2, connected to HLL 1, has been built with the capability to transform into a simulation lab - flat panel included. HLL 3 is a collaborative space bcomplete with a touchscreen flat panel and color printer.

MULTIPLE DUE DATES FOR DISCUSSIONS

When creating a graded discussion, instructors can set multiple due dates or checkpoints to accommodate different stages of the discussion process, such as the initial post and follow-up replies. This feature allows for more structured participation, ensuring students meet deadlines for each required step in the discussion.

“WE CAN’T SIGN YOU IN WITH THIS CREDENTIAL BECAUSE YOUR DOMAIN ISN’T AVAILABLE...” ERROR

If you have ever received this error while logging into a Salem computer, please know it is not a username or password error. You need to connect to the Salem network using your Salem credentials BEFORE trying to login.

Click the globe icon to connect to the internet. This globe indicates no network connection. Once connected to the network, try logging in again.

“CAN’T CONNECT TO THIS NETWORK” ERROR

If you have ever received this error, it is clear that your device is having a hard time reaching the network...but there is a quick fix!

  1. Click on the network symbol.
  2. Hover over the network and right-click.
  3. Select “Forget.”
  4. Go back to the WiFi options and choose the same option (you may need to sign in with credentials again, depending on the network).
  5. You should now be connected to the network of your choosing!
